Beeswax Wraps

Beeswax wraps are an eco-friendly option for covering fruits, veggies, cheeses, bread, and the tops of bowls! Beeswax wraps help limit the plastic in your home, help limit plastic pollution globally, are reusable and biodegradable, and are all-natural and non-toxic. At the end of your beeswax wraps life, either compost it at home, use it as a natural fire starter or re-wax it using one of our DIY wax blocks to revive it!

Use & Care Instructions

  • To Use: Wrap the beeswax wrap tightly around the food item you’re trying to preserve. Use the warmth of your hand to shape the wrap tightly. The warmth helps the wrap bend and shape more easily. Once you shape the wrap, it should stick to itself.

  • To Clean: Rinse with cold or lukewarm water, use a gentle, eco-friendly soap to cleanse, lay flat to dry. Avoid using hot water, this can melt the beeswax.

  • To Store: gently fold the beeswax wraps and store them in a drawer, basket or on a shelf.

  • To Revive: Place wrap on a baking sheet and place in the oven at 150° F. Once the wax is melted remove the tray from the oven and pick the wrap up holding it by the corners. Keep holding the wrap by the corners until it cools enough for the wax to harden again, this will only take a few seconds.
